Eatons Celebrate 50th Anniversary

Jim and Vivian Eaton of Mt Carroll are celebrating their 50th anniversary. Vivian, daughter of Paul and Lorna Friederich, Savanna, Il and Jim, son of Leslie and Lillian Eaton, Mt Carroll, Il were married at the Hickory Grove Methodist Church in Wacker, Il on December 27, 1962. They have 3 children, Audra (Mike) Baltierra of Mt Carroll, Sarah Murphy of Savanna, and Lyle Eaton of Mt Carroll. They have 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Jim and Vivian were dairy farmers for 20 years. Jim then attended Sauk Valley College and received an associate degree as a x-ray technician. He retired in 2004 from the x-ray department at Rockford Memorial Hospital . Vivian graduated from Northern Illinois University with a BS in Elementary Education. She retired in 2008 from employment at Carroll County as Supervisor of Assessments.

Lilly G. Stoner

Ryan and Shelley Stoner of Lanark are parents of a daughter, Lilly Grace Stoner, born December 3, 2012, at the Monroe Clinic in Monroe, Wis. Sister is Jenica, 6. Brothers are Perry, 4, and Carson, 2. Grandparents are Dennis and Karen Schriner of Lanark, and Darrell and Carol Stoner of Shannon. Great-Grandparents are Don Schriner of Lanark, Dorothy Stoner of Lanark, the late Mildred Schriner, the late Robert Stoner, the late Gus and Irma Haas, and the late Vernon and LaVeda Alexander
