Whiteside County Sheriff’s Report

2-16-13 at 10:26 PM - Abby L Celestino, age 28 of Sterling, was arrested on I-88 at the IL Route 40 off-ramp for Improper Lane Usage and (2) counts of DUI. She was processed at the Rock Falls Police Station and released on a Notice to Appear. A passenger in her vehicle, Angela E Humphrey, age 35 of Freeport, was charged with Illegal Transportation of Alcohol. Humphrey posted her Illinois Driver’s License as bond. The vehicle was removed from the roadway by Slim-N-Hank’s. Rock Falls Police assisted in the arrest and processing.

2-22-13 at 01:00 AM - Deputies responded to a reported vehicle crash on IL Route 172 just north of Tampico. Upon investigation, Mark W. Landry, Junior, age 24 of Sterling, was arrested for Too Fast for Conditions as well as (2) counts of DUI. He was processed on scene and bonded. Rock Falls Police Assisted as well as Slim-n-Hank’s Towing.

2-25-12 at 6:30 PM - Alfredo Guadalupe, age 38 of Clinton, Iowa, was arrested at US Route 30 and Liberty Street in Morrison for No Valid Driver’s License. He was transported to the Whiteside County Jail where he posted the $150.00 bond and was released. The vehicle was removed by Rick’s Towing. Morrison Police provided assistance.

2-26-13 at 3:20 AM - Nathan C. Hutchinson, age 28 of Morrison, was stopped for no front registration plate on US Route 30 near Hillside Road and ultimately arrested for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. He posted bond and was released.

3-02-13 at 4:22 AM - Ashlee N.L. Much, age 22 of Morrison, was stopped for an equipment violation in Morrison and arrested for Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Her driver’s license posted as bond and she received a written warning for the other violation(s).

3-02-13 at 11:30 PM Gretchen M. Geirnaeirt, age 35 of Milledgeville, stopped for equipment violation west of Morrison and arrested for Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Her driver’s license posted as bond and she received a written warning for the other violation(s).

3-03-13 at 12:01 AM - A suspicious vehicle in rural Fulton lead to the arrest of Jonathan O. Cox, age 31 of Morrison for (2) counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and Driving While License Revoked. He was processed at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office and released on bond. His passenger, Jolene M. Greul, age 33 of Morrison, was cited for Unlawful Transportation of Alcohol. She was also released on bond. Fulton Police and Midwest Collision assisted on scene.

3-03-13 at 05:20 AM - Whiteside County Deputies responded to a single vehicle roll over crash on Spring Hill Road at Blackhawk Road, rural Prophetstown. During the course of the investigation, the driver, Jonathon L. Skinner, age 30 of Prophetstown, was cited for Driving Too Fast for Conditions, Failure to Report Crash to Police Authority, Failure to Give Information After Striking Other Property, and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Crash. Ince’s Towing assisted on scene.

3-03-13 at 9:45 PM - A traffic stop in Prophetstown for tinted windows lead to the arrest of Melissa J. Jarka, age 28 of Tiskilwa, Illinois for Tinted Windows, No Valid Illinois Driver’s License, and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. She was bonded on scene pending a future court date. Her passenger, Terry L. Giglio, age 31 of Kewanee, was cited for Illegal Transportation of Alcohol. His Illinois license was posted as bond.

3-03-13 at 11:26 PM - On U.S. Route 30 east of Rock Falls, Guillermo Cid Zaca, age 40 of Rock Falls, was stopped for disobeying a stop sign. He was ultimately arrested for Driving While License Suspended, transported to the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, processed, and released without incident. Slim-n-Hank’s Towing assisted on scene.

These arrests are merely a charge and he/she is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
