The Coleta Fire Department

"We would like to thank everyone that supports the department," said Coleta Fire Chief Gary Buis. "Our big fundraiser is our Biannual Pancake Breakfast, which is coming up on Sunday, November 9th, from 7am to 1pm held at the fire station. We are looking at purchasing 6 new SCBA's with the proceeds."

The Coleta Fire Department currently has twenty members . "Last year we had 19 fire calls and 20 EMS calls," Chief Buis said.

Personnel of the Coleta Fire Dept. are Chad Adams, Dale Beachy, Doug Behrens, Aaron Brogen, Chief Gary Buis, Karen Buis, Michele Buis, John Caudillo, Duffy Dorner, Monica Fane, Matthew Hicks, Jeff Kriebs, Matt Kriebs, Gaylon McKenna, Eric Richmond, James Shank, Marcy Shank, Danielle Sheraden, and Jeff Thompson.

"We have also set up a new account to raise money to be able to build a new addition to our current station. The fund has been set up in memory of Danny Shank."
