Milledgeville Accepts Grant For New Water Treatment Plant
Village of Milledgeville President Bill Ritenour (right) and Clerk JoAnne Ludewig accept a $100,000 State of Illinois grant check from 89th District State Representative Jim Sacia (3rd from rt.) at the plant on Friday afternoon, Jan. 30. Also on hand for the check presentation were (l to r) Sharon Pepin, Community Funding & Planning Services, Matt Wagner, project engineer with Willett Hofmann & Associates, and Dave Kent, Village water treatment manager. The state grant will offset part of the +$180,000 new Huber Fine Screen waste water solid waste screening equipment. The project was completed in November 2008.
