Standing in front of the original stage curtain of the Teeds Grove Schoolhouse located at the Great River Threshers grounds in Miles, IA are Richard Eggers (left) of Clinton, and Gene Thomsen of Miles. Both attended the Teeds Grove one-room schoolhouse almost 70 years ago. "We've known each other forever," said Gene. Richard added they celebrated their 60th high school reunion this past spring.
