Local Residents Attend Tea Party Protest

Some area residents attended Tea Party Protests, a grass-roots effort organized to protest what many feel to be out of control Federal government spending. Although some corporate media and legislators marginalize these people, calling them right-wing extremists, it is apparent in the Prairie Advocate reporting that most of them are average Americans who are tired of the Republican-Democrat parties who the protesters think are both representing the same thing, namely bigger, more costly government.

The video below was taken on a train ride to Chicago's Union Station, march from Daley Plaza to Kluczynski Federal Building Plaza and interviews with participants at the protest.
