Soubrette. Ingenue. Those two words went out of fashion years ago. If being used at all in the theatrical world today it would be seldom or merely as a description of a particular role. Actresses in the modern day are rarely soubrette or ingenue!

Cardinals Prevail In Close Battle

By Craig Lang

Prairie Advocate Sports

Tuesday night's match up in Forreston between the Cardinals and the Milledgeville volleyball team was a battle of wills, and which squad would make the least mistakes. In the end Forreston would come out on the winning end, taking the match in two games, 25-19 and 25-22.

In the first game the two teams played through ten ties and seventeen in game two. Eleven of the Cardinals points in game one were due to hitting mistakes by the Missiles. Game two turned out to be the real thriller as the teams went back and forth with both teams taking leads. The Missiles went up by three at 21-18 but the Missiles rallied back to tie the score at 22. Forreston then went up by a point and finished off Milledgeville with two aces by Rachael Hagemann.

Lady Missiles Handle Lady Bulldogs

By Craig Lang

After a back and forth game one which Milledgeville took by a final of 25-15, game two began much the same way. Milledgeville went up 4-1 before Aquin came back to knot the score at seven.
