‘River Town Rhythms’ to Benefit the Savanna Historical Society

The Savanna Historical Society Concert Committee is happy to announce the ‘New Spirit Band” will perform Saturday May 19th at 7 p.m. They will be joining the foursome of Matt Atherton, Juliene McCormick, Mark Miller, and Gloria Miner. Following a river theme of songs, “River Town Rhythms” will be accompanied by piano, keyboards, guitar, drum, and harmonica. The concert will be at the Savanna Museum and Cultural Center at 406 Main St. in Savanna.
The “New Spirit Band” is a contemporary Christian group that was formed 20 years ago, directed by Juliene McCormick and has performed at many local area churches and organizations. Bill Foley will present some “river history” and has written an original song that will debut at “River Town Rhythms”.
The concert is free but a $5.00 donation would be appreciated.
