Country-fied Carroll County Fair

(Top) Jason Michael Carroll brought live music back to the Carroll County Fair on Thursday night, August 11, and blew the crowd away with his great band and electric stage presence. Fans filled the grandstand and the whole track area in front of the stage on a cool, comfortable evening.

Carroll performed many of his songs from his chart-topping debut album (nearing a half-million in sales), three hit singles from that album, all of which he wrote or co-wrote, a Gold ringtone certification, and opening spots on some of country’s hottest tours - including the Carroll County Fair!

As a husband and father of four, Carroll sings about both sides of the equation in songs that recognize his country roots and a sense of community.

The crowd enjoyed not only his music, but his appreciation that “you all named the ‘Carroll’ County Fair after me. I won’t be too picky about the fact that you didn’t name it the ‘Jason Michael Carroll County Fair,’ but you spelled it right - 2 R’s and 2-L’s!”

One of the nine teams who competed in the 1st Inaugural Ag Olympics sponsored by the Carroll County Farm Bureau and Carroll County 4-H are working to make it through the obstacle course.
