CHARGES FILED*

David Martine, Bagley, MN, faces several charges including two felonies, after a Feb. 6 arrested following a traffic stop. Martine was charged with aggravated fleeing of police and possession of a stolen vehicle, both felonies, and was also charged with resisting an officer. He was issued four traffic citations including speeding, improper lane usage, driving on revoked license, and disregarding a traffic control device. He remains in jail on $50,000 bond.

GUILTY PLEA

Brandon Love, Shannon, pled guilty Feb. 6 to burglary, a Class 2 felony, and sentenced to three years special condition probation. He was also fined $1,619 and must undergo alcohol and drug treatment.

Scott Miller, Savanna, pled guilty to driving on a suspended license on Feb. 7 and fined $317.

FOUND GUILTY

Kylie Frank, Thomson, was found guilty of speeding following a bench trial held Feb. 7 with Judge John Joyce. Frank was fined $245 and placed on six months court supervision.

NOT GUILTY

Anson Fairtrace, Lockport, was found not guilty of DUI and other traffic charges following a bench trial on Feb. 7 with Judge Jack Joyce. He was also cleared of improper lane usage, changing lanes without a signal, and driving on the wrong side of the road following a Aug. 2, 2010, traffic stop.

Justin Coverdill, Chadwick, no windshield wiper, $70; operating uninsured motor vehicle, $247.

Loretta Terry, Morrison, unlicensed, $272.

Shawn Mernack, Mount Carroll, improper use registration, $112; no valid registration, $70; unlicensed, $514; operating uninsured vehicle, $814.

Benjamin Drendel, Naperville, speeding 15-20 mph above limit, $120.

Brandon Hager, Fulton, speeding 15-20 mph above limit, $120

Sarah Johnson, Savanna, speeding 11-14 above limit, three months court supervision, driver’s education, $175.
