Allens Welcome New Son

Wendell and Kathleen Allen announce the birth of their son Oliver Mernon Allen, born on October 23, 2009 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport, Illinois. He is welcomed by brothers, James, 7 years old and Eric, 6 years old and a sister, Vanessa, 19 months.

Grandparents are Steve and Linda Robison of Flora Vista, New Mexico and Carol and Yolanda Podolski of Savanna. Great grandparents are Ethel Robison of Beardstown, Illinois, Arlene Phelps of Winslow, Illinois, Manuel and Veronica Sigates of Rochelle, Illinois and Sandra Podolski of Savanna.

Gavin William Sweitzer

Samantha Winters and Casey Sweitzer of Mount Carroll are the parents of a son born at 12:06 p.m. on September 8, 2009, at CGH Medical Center.

Gavin William Sweitzer weighted 9 pounds, 11 ounces at birth and was 23 inches in length.

Maternal grandparents are Janet Winters of Milledgeville and Mark Winters of Sterling.

Paternal grandparents are Kim and Deb Sweitzer of Mount Carroll.

Maternal great-grandmother is Helan Winters of Freeport.

Paternal great-grandparents are Betty Sweitzer of Lanark and Sandra and Paul Shade of Forreston.
