Jessica Marie McPeek

Four months have passed since Jessica Marie left us. Some people say her goal was her graduation and she did it. A cure, a medicine or even a surgery to help her was not to be. The last 7½ years were more difficult for her than those of us caring for her. She would always have a smile or would laugh at our stupid jokes. She truly was my inspiration and not a day goes by that I don’t think of her. Anyone that met her loved her. So, this Thank You is long overdue and finishing this will be one more step to closing this chapter.

Steve and I would like to send a sincere thank you to Bob and Linda Janssen and Kim Planz for staying at the house, answering phone calls, bringing in food and for just being there for us. Thank you to Reneé Buisker and Debbie Jordan for the food you brought in at mom’s and for your support. We would like to thank all of our family, friends and neighbors for their prayers, attending the visitation and/or funeral, calls, cards, memorial money, flowers, plants, trees and the many, many beautiful Angels. We would also like to thank Charles Feltmeyer, Dereck Schafler and Tim Schurch for helping with chores during this time. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for the overwhelming love, generosity and support we received during the loss of Jessica Marie. Thank you to all from the bottom of our hearts.

Also, thank you for her graduation money, which will be put towards a memorial for Jessica Marie. We can’t reason with, beg or plead to God; we can only try to accept what is to be.
